ILYA RASHKOVSKIY
(1st Prize winner of the Hong Kong International Piano Competition 2005)

At the very young age of eight, Ilya Rashkovskiy made his solo debut with the Irkutsk Chamber Orchestra. He studied with Professor M. Lebenzon in Novosibirsk, with Professor V. Krainev at the Musikhochschule Hannover and with Professor M. Rybicki at the École Normale Supérieure Alfred Cortot in Paris.

Ilya Rashkovskiy is the first prize winner of the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, the International Jaen Competition and the Hong Kong International Piano Competition. Ilya has performed in several prestigious concert venues throughout the world, such as the Théatre du Châtelet and the Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Mariinsky Concert Hall in Saint Petersburg and the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Seoul Art Center, the Cologne Philharmonic Hall, the Essen Philharmonic Hall, the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He has been regularly invited to perform at the Joy of Music Festival in Hong Kong, the International Piano Festival in La Roque d’Anthéron and the International Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdroj (Poland).

He has collaborated as a soloist with various orchestras including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestre national de Lille, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Maastricht Symphony Orchestra, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the New Japan Symphony Orchestra, the State Academic Orchestra of the Russian Federation, and the Mariinsky Orchestra, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and the Montevideo Symphony Orchestra among many others.

In 2018, the upcoming projects include a recital of 24 preludes by Debussy at the Mariinsky Concert Hall, collaboration with the violinist Sayaka Shoji at music festivals in France, chamber music concerts with the Shanghai String Quartet in Seoul and the Borodin Quartet in Hong Kong. He is also having a concert tour in Japan including the concerto appearances (Rachmaninov 2nd and Brahms 1st), and a CD recording with the saxophonist Miho Sumiya.

He has recorded many CDs including the works of Russian composers (Mussorgsky, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky) (La Musica, France, 2016), Scriabin’s complete piano sonatas (NAR, Japan, 2015). the Seasons and Sonata in c-sharp minor by Tchaikovsky (Naxos 2008), as well as Chopin’s Complete Études (Victor Japan, 2013). Since 2017, Ilya teaches at the Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul as a guest professor.

He is also regularly giving master classes in Asia, in the USA and in Europe.

八歲已和庫茨克室樂交響樂團同台首演。於新西伯利亞學習音樂，師從列賓松教授和於漢諾威音樂及戲劇學院，師隨弗拉基米爾•凱爾涅夫教授，及巴黎師範音樂學院，師從馬利安•里比斯基教授。

歴年來摘冠無數如: 日本濱松國際鋼琴大賽，西班牙哈恩鋼琴大賽和香港國際鋼琴大賽。

曾獲邀參加世界各地各大音樂節，如：法國昂迪榮國際鋼琴音樂節﹑波蘭蕭邦音樂節和香港美樂聚音樂節。亦曾與各大樂團合作，包括有：俄羅斯國家交響樂團﹑基輔國家愛樂樂團﹑里斯本古本加管弦樂團﹑ 捷克國家交響樂團及新日本交響樂團。 他曾與各種管弦樂團合作，包括法國電台愛樂樂團，里爾管弦樂團，比利時國家管弦樂團，馬斯垂克交響樂團，捷克國家交響樂團，東京交響樂團，新日本交響樂團， 俄羅斯聯邦國家學術管弦樂團，Mariinsky管弦樂團，烏克蘭國家愛樂樂團和蒙得維的亞交響樂團等眾多樂團。

2018年，即將開始的演出包括: 在Mariinsky音樂廳舉行的德布西二十四首前奏曲獨奏會，法國音樂節與小提琴家Sayaka Shoji合奏，在首爾與上海弦樂四重奏的室樂音樂會以及在香港與Borodin Quartet同台演出。他還會在日本進行巡迴演奏，包括演奏協奏曲(Rachmaninov 2nd和Brahms 1st)，以及和色士風演奏者Miho Sumiya的CD錄音。
