ESTANCIA "RINCON DE FRANCIA" - YOUNG - RIO NEGRO - URUGUAY

Rinc�n de Francia is one of the most beautiful "estancias" of Uruguay. Located about 15 kms from the city of Young, R�o Negro, is about 300 kms north from Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay.

The "Casco" was built around 1886 by Robert Stirling Erskine .

Roberto Stirlling developed a model farm as far as techniques and facilities are concerned. The Hereford cattle-breeding farm was started on the early twentieth century, and was afterwards enriched with high quality bulls from England and the United States, giving Rinc�n de Francia an excellent reputation in Uruguay as well as abroad

Today "Rinc�n de Francia" is owned and run by Eduardo Stirling Cash.
